Vienna

These pictures were taken during a long weekend in Vienna in February 2008.

The Postsparkasse
The Postsparkasse (Otto Wagner). This is a fabulous building, and is still used as a post office.
The Secession building
The Secession building (Olbrich). The most interesting thing here is the Klimt frieze.
The Blue Danube
The Blue Danube, looking blue.
St Leopold's Church
St Leopold's Church (Otto Wagner). This is a bus ride from the centre, and a bit of a climb when you get there, but well worth it.
The Wittgensteinhaus
The Wittgensteinhaus, now the home of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute.
The Orangerie of the Schoenbrunn Palace
The Orangerie of the Schoenbrunn Palace. You aren't allowed to take photos during the performance, so I had to make do with one of the room. Mozart performed here - but not on the night we went.
